Technical Notes:
1. Recommended V-die opening (V) selection:
✔ For S < 10 mm → V=8 × S
✔ For 10 mm ≤ S ≤ 25 mm → V = 10 × S
✔ For S > 25 mm → V = 12 × S
2. The bending force formula is based on air bending conditions and assumes mild steel with a tensile strength (σb) of 450 N/mm² as the reference material.
3. For materials with different tensile strengths, the calculated bending force shall be corrected proportionally by applying the corresponding material factor (K).
4. The calculated results are for reference only. Actual required tonnage shall be determined based on tooling configuration, bending method (air bending, bottoming, coining), material grade, and processing conditions.
